Theology That Transforms

Dr. Thomas Lyons equips individuals and institutions for the future by preparing educators and students to think deeply, lead faithfully, and engage an increasingly post-Christian world.

Decades in the Classroom,
a Lifetime in the Text

Dr. Thomas Lyons is a theologian and educator with over two decades of teaching experience in ministry and academic contexts — including ten years in formal graduate and seminary classrooms. His work bridges rigorous academic theology and practical ministry formation, building courses that equip students to think deeply and serve faithfully.

In addition to his academic work, Thomas has served the Vineyard movement in a variety of local, national, and global ministry roles for more than 23 years. He consults with seminaries and graduate ministry programs to design theology courses, develop syllabi, and create engaging materials that meet both academic standards and the formational needs of students.

He lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife and their children, along with Charlie their golden retriever.
